Halo Post has appointed two senior creatives to its Picture finishing team.

Ronnie Newman joins as a Senior Online Editor and Colourist. Newman, who held senior roles at facilities Blue and Prime Focus joins the department to work primarily on Halo’s non-scripted output.

Senior Flame Editor Tom Young joins from Platform Post. Young will focus on Halo’s growing Drama and tentpole UHD HDR projects.

Halo’s Commercial Director, Will Garbutt says, “Having Ronnie and Tom come on board is the start of an exciting period of growth for us. I have known Ronnie for many years. He and has well over 25 years of experience in the chair, and aside from being a brilliant colourist and online editor combined, he is calm, fast and utterly reliable. I can say much the same about Tom who’s credits speak for themselves but is also such a can-do character. I am so thrilled the pair of them are in our corner.’

Halo has recently added 3 new Baselight grading systems and another Flame suite as part the first of a major enhancement of their picture services, as well as upgrading their offline sites to Z workstations and Pro Tools rigs onto the latest Mac Pros.
