Post house Halo has added dubbing mixer and senior mix technician, Tushar Manek, to its sound team.

Manek, who was previously at Lipsync, will head up Halo’s flagship Dolby Atmos theatrical mixing theatre (Studio1) managing a team of mix technicians. Manek will also mix feature films, documentaries and dramas. His recent mixing credits include the animation TV series Moley (Boomerang TV, Warner Bros), Save The Cinema (SKY, UK) , A Suitable Boy (Lookout Point) and Minimata (Metalwork Pictures). He is also an experienced ADR mixer and dialogue editor.

This move is the latest in the company’s drive to bolster its sound and picture services to the film and high-end television community. Specifically, targeted at offering streamlined Dolby VISION and Dolby ATMOS workflows, feeding film distribution and the SVOD market.

In addition to recently upgrading all Protools systems to the latest spec Mac Pros, Halo has also added three new Baselight Two grading systems and two Baselight Assist workstations.
