Debbie Adler has joined the Garden Studios family to lead the commercial team.

She will work with clients across film, television, and advertising across the sound stages, virtual production studios and a range of technical services.

“We are so excited to have Debbie join our leadership team. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the studio business but was an early advocate of technology-enabled film production and brings a fresh perspective from having interacted with players across the whole industry,” said Founder and CEO of Garden Studios, Thomas Hoegh.

Adler comes to Garden from Los Angeles where she recently led a new economic development organisation with the Mayor’s Office. Prior to that, Adler served as a leader within the UK government’s Department for International Trade (DIT) as the North America Sector Director for the ‘Creative, Media and Sports Economy’ team. She worked with British, Canadian, and American companies across screen, games, immersive, experience economy, advertising, sports, and music to promote trade and investment with the UK.

During her tenure with the British government, she worked closely across governmental departments and with clients to champion the expansion of sound stage space across the UK for film and high-end television production as well as virtual production stages.
