Wicks joins Expectation in September and will be working with the creative team which includes: Nick Mather and Nick Samwell-Smith as Creative Directors, Entertainment; Nerys Evans as Creative Director, Comedy, Colin Barr as Creative Director, Factual and Factual Drama and Amy Flanagan as Creative Director, Factual and Kirstie Macdonald as Creative Director, Drama.

Ben Wicks said: “I could not be more excited to join Tim, Peter and the rest of their ludicrously talented team. There are so many comedy entertainment shows that I’m itching to develop and there’s no better place to hone them. To be asked to be part of Expectation is a real honour, and to get to talk TV with the guys is so exhilarating, they could probably get away without paying me. They don’t read this do they?"

Co-CEO of Expectation, Tim Hincks, said: “Peter and I have always loved making comedy entertainment shows and we think it’s such a vital area for Expectation to be involved in. We needed to find a younger and funnier version of ourselves and annoyingly we found him. Ben is going to be such a brilliant addition to the team, and we can’t wait for him to join.”
