Zig Zag Productions has appointed Emmy-winning executive producer and showrunner Ronnie Krensel to lead its operation in the US.
As Executive Vice President Zig Zag USA, Krensel will be responsible for spearheading Zig Zag’s growing US business, developing and pitching content and branded projects to international streamers, digital platforms and US networks.
Krensel’s career has seen him helm comedy, adventure and science shows for TruTV, Discovery, Youtube Red, BBC, ABC, A&E, History, TLC, Animal Planet, Travel, Food HGTV and PBS. His documentary about inner-city education – ‘A Matter of Degrees’ – won an Emmy Award and Silver Medals at the Toronto and Columbus film festivals. He was also nominated for an Emmy for Youtube Premium travel and adventure series – ‘Finding Football’ – last year.
As a Development Executive, Krensel has created projects for ABC, Food, TLC, ESPN, Discovery, Animal Planet, A&E, Cooking, Bravo UK and Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK.
Based in New York, Krensel will report directly to Zig Zag Productions CEO Danny Fenton.
