Distributor Cineflix Rights has appointed industry veteran Richard Life to the newly-created position of Head of Acquisitions.
 
Life will spearhead acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, as the company increases its content streams through producer partnerships, development and first-look deals, and co-productions.

Life previously held the roles of Head of Acquisitions and Co-productions at ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Head of Programming at Channel 4 International.

Based in London, Life will oversee the global acquisitions team which comprises of Kate Laffey, VP, Acquisitions; Catherine McCormick, Manager, Acquisitions; and Giuliana Benvenuto, Manager, Acquisitions, North America. Life will report to Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media.
 
The company is also recruiting for a VP, Acquisitions, North America.
