Charlie Covell, showrunner, writer, and producer of The End of the F**ing World* and Kaos, is to show run an adaptation of Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey’s book So Gay for You: Friendship, Found Family, and the Show That Started It All, for Amazon/MGM+.
So Gay for You is a comedy about female friendship and post-L-Word fame.
Covell is attached as creator, showrunner, and executive producer, with Moennig and Hailey also set to executive produce and star in the project.
Covell is currently showrunning Life Is Strange for Amazon MGM Studios and Lucky Chap.
Jessica Rhoades (Black Mirror, Ponies) will executive produce for Pacesetter, with Alison Mo Massey as co-EP and Nina Lederman also executive producer.
