Channel 4’s digital channel, Channel 4.0, has ordered three new original series for this summer.

From Cowshed Studios comes entertainment show The Intern. Acclaimed Content is making quiz show Family Face-Off and Bakers Dozen Studios is partnering with After Party Studios to create a new dating prank show – Find The Catfish.

Produced by Cowshed Studios, part of Cowshed Collective, comes entertainment show The Intern. It offers 80 amateur creators the chance to secure a once in a lifetime opportunity with four of the UK’s biggest creators. With only one internship up for grabs in each of the four episodes, 20 contestants will “face the most unorthodox job interview as they take on creative and problem-solving challenges.”

Interviewed and ultimately hired by a C4.0 star – Angry Ginge, Nella Rose, Harry Pinero or Darkest Man – the four winners will be selected by the panel to win the dream gig of shadowing one of them on a production shoot. This format was developed by Nathan Turnbull and is executive produced by Ryan O’Shea and George Cowin.

Family Face-Off has two creators go head-to-head with their family on a new quiz competition. In each episode, two “equally competitive and unfiltered families” must answer a series of questions to prove who knows their relatives best. Hosted by Darkest Man, the show is executive produced by Anton Inwood, and series produced by Chris Goodson from Acclaimed Content.

In each episode of Find The Catfish, one content creator will have five blind dates to find their real connection. But what they don’t know is two of their fellow creators will be pranking them, using voice changing tech to disguise and convince their friend they’re the one. Find The Catfish is executive produced by Jamie MacDonald and Sam Ewen from After Party Studios, as well as Marvyn Benoit at Bakers Dozen Studios. It is series produced by Trent Williams Jones.

Family Face-Off and Find the Catfish are commissioned by Evie Buckley, Digital Commissioning Editor and Channel 4.0 Lead. The Intern is commissioned by Kaio Grizzelle, Digital Commissioning Executive, Channel 4.0. Sacha Khari is Channel 4’s Head of Digital Commissioning.
