Cécile Janet has joined sound post production studio Fonic as sound editor and dubbing mixer, moving from Fitzrovia Post.

Janet’s experience includes short film The Day I Became A Bird for Passion Pictures and two series of Deadend: Paranormal Park for Blink Industries and Netflix. At Fitzrovia, she was audio lead for all creative content and technical development.

Janet said: “The team is renowned for the level of passion they pour into the work and I hugely admire their ethos. They care deeply about each project and work hard to support their clients to achieve their goals. There’s a reason people keep coming back and clients have trusted Fonic for two decades! I’m thrilled to be collaborating with my talented new teammates whose work I have admired for so long. And of course, working in the picturesque setting of Hackney City Farm, where sustainability is at the heart of everything, is an absolute dream!”

Barnaby Templer, CEO of Fonic, said: “Cecile’s work is so well crafted. Not just technically brilliant but with a deep understanding and nuanced approach to storytelling.”
