CBeebies panto for 2026 will be a reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson’s pirate classic, Treasure Island, which this year will be filmed in Liverpool.
This adventure, produced by BBC Studios Kids and Family Productions, will be recorded at Liverpool’s Empire Theatre on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026, and will feature CBeebies stars, including Andy Day.
Kate Morton, Senior Head of Commissioning for CBeebies said: “The CBeebies Panto is a much-loved festive tradition for families across the UK, and we’re setting sail to Liverpool for ‘Treasure Island’ this year. Packed with songs, surprises and plenty of pirate mischief, it’s a festive treat designed to bring families together to watch and create magical memories.”
