Drive to Survive production company, Box to Box Films, has appointed Matteo Perale as President and Matt Moore as Chief Financial Officer.

Box to Box films and series include Face Off: Inside the NHL, Amy, Maradona and Tour de France: Unchained alongside “delivering ambitious, editorially-led storytelling at scale for some of the world’s most recognisable names.”

In his new role, Perale will work across development, partnerships and new business opportunities, “helping to drive the next phase of growth while supporting the diversification of Box to Box’s revenue streams across original commissions and brand collaborations.” Perale previously co-founded studio wiip, which was sold to Korean conglomerate JTBC, and he has held senior roles including Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at CAA, where he sat on the executive committee, and Director of Strategic Development at Infront Sports & Media, playing a key role in its $1bn+ sale to Wanda Group.

Following Perale’s appointment, Box to Box founders James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin will now serve as Co-CEOs of the company, in addition to their roles as Founders. “The move reflects the scale and ambition of the business today, and is designed to support continued growth across both the creative and strategic leadership of the company.”

Matt Moore has also joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and will oversee financial strategy as the business continues to scale internationally. Moore most recently served as Group CFO at Vice Media Group, where he played a key role in restructuring the business and securing new investment to support its recovery and growth. Prior to this, he held senior roles at ITV, Virgin Media and BSkyB.
