Blackmagic Design has announced new lower prices for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K models and Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K.
Blackmagic says the reduction has been made possible due to securing better pricing on parts.
The new prices are
* Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K from USD $2,715 to $1,595
* Blackmagic PYXIS 6K L from USD $3,080 to $1,995
* Blackmagic PYXIS 6K EF from USD $3,070 to $1,995
* Blackmagic PYXIS 6K PL from USD $3,265 to $2,195
Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and Blackmagic PYXIS 6K models are available immediately.
“We have been working hard to secure improved pricing on some parts, so we can now pass that on to our customers through a lower price,” said Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design CEO. “This price reduction allows even more customers to buy a professional full-frame cinema camera giving them a whole new way to tell their stories. This will be exciting!”
Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and Blackmagic PYXIS 6K models are available immediately from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide from US$1,595, excluding local duties and taxes, and will be demonstrated on the Blackmagic Design IBC 2026 Stand 7.C49.
