BFE Cut Above Awards: the winners

British Film Editors has announced the winners of its 2026 Cut Above editing awards with wins for Gaza: Doctors Under Attack, Slow Horses S5, Hamnet and The Celebrity Traitors.

The awards, held last Friday at Picturehouse Central, London, saw the Lifetime Achievement go to John Grover BFE and this year’s Outstanding Contribution award presented to Eddie Hamilton, ACE BFE by producer Sir Matthew Vaughn.

The ceremony comprised fourteen categories, with long-lists, short-lists, and winners all voted by BFE members.
