BAFTA has opened applications for BAFTA Breakthrough 2026.
Now in its 13th year, BAFTA Breakthrough UK is the arts charity’s flagship talent programme, spotlighting and supporting outstanding emerging talent in film, games, and television.
BAFTA Breakthrough is supported by Netflix and now counts over 300 creatives amongst its alumni, including Abubakar Salim, Adjani Salmon, Akinola Davies Jr., Ambika Mod, Bella Ramsey, Daf James, Ellis Howard, Florence Pugh, George Robinson, Jack Rooke, Jennifer English, Jessie Buckley, Josh O’Connor, Laurie Nunn, Letitia Wright, Mark Choi, Olaide Sadiq, Paapa Essiedu, Raine Allen-Miller, Rina Yang, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Samantha Béart, and Vivian Oparah.
