Superindie Argonon, has promoted Lindsay Goyette-Burke to a newly created role, Head of Talent and Casting, Argonon USA.

Reporting into Argonon USA CEO Joe Weinstock, Goyette-Burke’s remit will span Argonon labels Rose Rock Entertainment and Leopard USA, supporting the expansion of both companies’ pipeline of commissioned series and funded developments.

Goyette-Burke’s role follows a series of recent senior appointments across Argonon USA, with the appointment of Weinstock as CEO, the hire of Darryl Cordova as Senior Director of Development at Rose Rock and the promotion of Travis Schoen to VP, Production & Development, Rose Rock.

Goyette-Burke’s previous roles included Director of Casting and Talent for ITV, where she oversaw casting for History Channel hits including Forged in Fire and American Restoration, as well as contributing to the casting for Netflix’s breakout smash, Queer Eye. She will continue to oversee the casting department for House Hunters International for HGTV.

Goyette-Burke’s remit coincides with an increase in commissions and funded developments; since launching in 2022, Rose Rock has created and developed a slate of original programming including brand new original series Last Chance Garage for Motor Trend, with further unannounced series, one-off specials and funded developments for US networks. Leopard USA recently secured a renewed order for House Hunters International (HGTV) and has further unscripted shows in funded development.

In a joint statement, Argonon USA’s CEO Joe Weinstock and COO Steven McGovern commented: “With multiple new projects at the development and commissioning stage and the creative sector now back on an upwards trajectory, the timely appointment of Lindsay Goyette-Burke in this new role further expands our US senior team, supporting our plans for rapid growth.  Lindsay is a stellar casting director whose track record in managing global talent and identifying unique characters across America aligns with our creative programming ambitions.”

James Burstall, Argonon’s global CEO and Executive Chair, Argonon USA said: “We’re encouraged by recent meetings with networks and streamers who are actively seeking new content for 2024 and beyond as the US creative economy begins to turn. With a hyper-focus on US growth through our West Coast hub and with significant investment in a world class US senior team, Lindsay will enhance our creative output across our expanding range of US commissions and funded developments.”

Rose Rock Entertainment was launched as a joint venture with Argonon in 2022. Leopard USA is the producer of regular Top 20 US cable show House Hunters International (HGTV) which has seen over 2,300 episodes commissioned. Recent commissions include La’Ron in a Million (Snap), In with the Old (Magnolia) and Cash in the Attic (HGTV).

Argonon is home to several production companies, fully owned or launched as joint ventures. Key shows include The Masked Singer UK (joint venture Bandicoot Scotland for ITV); Hard Cell (Leopard Pictures for Netflix), Lost Treasures of Egypt (Windfall Films for Nat Geo) and Dispatches (BriteSpark Films for Channel 4).
