All3Media’s joint owners, Liberty Global and Warner Bros Discovery, are looking into the possibility of selling the superindie, according to reports.
The owners are looking into a variety of options including cashing out on the company in a deal that could be worth around £1bn.
According to Reuters, a sale to a third party or one or other of Liberty Global or WBD buying the other’s stake is on the table.
All3Media is the UK’s biggest production group housing over 50 production companies and labels including Company Pictures, Lime Pictures, Objective Media Group, Raw TV, Silverback and Studio Lambert.
Its distribution arm, All3Media International, has a catalogue containing over 30,000 hours of content across our scripted, non-scripted, formats and scripted formats. As well as Britain’s top-selling drama series Midsomer Murders, the scripted catalogue includes Fleabag, All Creatures Great And Small, It’s A Sin, Trigger Point, The Tourist and The English. Non-Scripted content slate includes Traitors, Gogglebox, Undercover Boss, This Is Your Life, Lingo, The Dog House and Race Across The World.
