Metaprofile, which develops advanced content organisation technologies, is launching metaDNA, an AI-driven metadata engine designed to change how audiences discover and engage with entertainment content.

The technology introduces a unique profiling system for movies, shows, and sports events, for search and recommendation experiences.

It uses a semantic analysis framework that assigns each piece of content a distinctive profile. Unlike traditional metadata that focuses on basic attributes such as genre or cast, metaDNA captures elements including mood, tone, plot structure, themes, and stylistic features.

Admir Đozović, CEO at Metaprofile. “By creating these unique semantic profiles, metaDNA empowers search engines and recommendation systems to deliver highly personalized and contextually relevant results. Viewers will experience a new level of engagement, discovering content that truly resonates with their preferences and emotional expectations.”

The metaDNA engine is designed to fuel next-generation search platforms with enriched data, enabling semantic search capabilities that go beyond keyword matching. This means users can find movies, shows, or sports events based on complex criteria such as mood or thematic elements, rather than relying solely on titles or genres.
