ITV controller popular factual commissioning Jo Clinton-Davis on what she's currently looking to commission, what's worked well for ITV in 2011 and how best to pitch to her.

This film is of Clinton-Davis talking exclusively to Televisual at Televisual's Factual Festival at BAFTA in October 2011. It was beautifully shot by acclaimed DoP Steve Lawes (who won a Bafta Cymru award and was nominated for a RTS Craft award for his work on BBC’s Sherlock) on a Sony HDCAM SR camera.
Director of photography: Steve Lawes Interview: Tim Dams

Funny ITV have a policy of killing factual and documentaries for years ( I used to edit prime time factual) and decided to run with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and such like for a decade where once there was a doc! How much prime time is given away from formulaic commercial dross?
