Production Technology Survey 2018 Back to Reports & survey Listing

It’s another year at the top for Sony’s FS7. The camera is far and away the most popular choice for our respondents with 28% naming it as a camera they regularly use (the figure was 22% in last year’s survey).  The FS7 is also the camera named as the one most respondents anticipate using in the year ahead (24% said this was the case). Old stalwart the Canon C300 has held on to second position in the most used cameras ranking this year although those naming it dropped from 16% last year to 11% this year. Looking to the year ahead, there are some new entrants to the list of cameras respondents are likely to use in the coming 12 months with Panasonic’s EVA1, Blackmagic’s updated Pocket Cinema Camera and the new Sony Venice now making the list.
