Bristol’s Big Bang was set up seven years ago as a boutique facility centred on two audio dubbing theatres and a single online suite. It’s now a full-service house with expanded audio post facilities, vfx and grading capabilities, predominantly aimed at broadcast clients. Facility manager Sarah Miller says, over the last 12 months: “There have been a large amount of commissions in Bristol and more drama this year, which is really positive.” She adds that Big Bang has been “awarded a large number of projects and seem to have a large amount of returning clients and repeat business.” Part of the challenge of running a post house in 2011, says Miller, is “there have been a lot of changes and new technology to deal with”.
