Jon Chads has stepped up to join Andrew Levene as Managing Director of Stink Films London.

The pair, who are also Executive Producers at the production company, are combining their skills to “deliver creative excellence for clients, develop talent, and grow in the UK market”.

While Levene continues to oversee the production pipeline, Chads is expanding on strategy and business development. They will continue to collaborate with Stink President, Daniel Bergmann and Global Head of Film, Blake Powell.

Levene joined Stink 11 years ago, initially as Producer, then as Head of Production and later, Managing Director. Having worked at 2AM Films, The Sweet Shop and Pulse among others, Andrew, a prolific producer, knows how to collaborate with agencies and brands while also supporting directors. He has been successfully running Stink Films London for the past 3 years.

Chads has been with Stink as an Executive Producer for almost a decade. Previously at major advertising shops such as Grey, Wieden + Kennedy, BMB and The Mill, Chads honed his leadership skills and developed an expert understanding of the production/agency ecosystem.

The London office also recently welcomed Valentina Tarelli as Global Head of PR & Marketing and promoted Dom Mckiernan to Head of Music Videos, further strengthening the team across all core departments.

“Having Jon and Andrew as joint MDs will provide even more bandwidth and an opportunity for growth,” said Daniel Bergmann, Founder & President, Stink. “As Blake Powell continues to lead Stink’s creative output globally, it is the right time for us to reaffirm our ambition for Stink Films London.”

Powell added: “Stink is about nurturing and building the best talent all over the world and that is just as true with our Directors as it is with our internal teams.”

“Andrew and I flirted for over ten years, so I think it’s the right time for us to commit,” said Chads. “Our backgrounds and skills are a perfect fit for crafting and delivering work for our clients and being able to lean on Daniel and Blake’s combined experience just instils confidence. It’s also about the bigger team we are building here in London, and our collective ambition to keep Stink fresh and make it an exciting place to work.” –

Levene added: “100%. We are lucky to have an amazing team in place here in London; Dom Mckiernan’s recent promotion is already taking our music video division to the next level and having Valentina Tarelli head up our PR and Marketing globally is helping with building momentum.”
