Zig Zag brings magician Troy to Channel 4

Zig Zag is bringing South London magician Troy to Channel 4 for a six-part series.

The series, co-produced by GroupM Entertainment, will showcase the young magician's skills. It will include stunts performed in front of the public and will combine elements of street magic and close up studio illusions, with each episode culminating in one spectacular stunt. 

The show will using hidden cameras to capture the reaction of people that Troy encounters in his everyday life. 

24 year old Troy Von Scheibner is of German and Jamaican heritage and grew up in South London. At the age of 13 he decided to join The Young Magicians Club, where later he was awarded "young close-up magician of the year" aged only 15.

Troy was commissioned by Channel 4 head of Factual Entertainment Liam Humphreys and commissioning editor Tina Flintoff. It will be co-produced by Zig Zag Productions and GroupM Entertainment. Executive producers are Clare Hollywood and Danny Fenton for Zig Zag Productions and Tony Moulsdale and Abigail Adams for GroupM Entertainment. It will air in 2014.
