Yates, Dooley and Drew-Honey to front BBC3 series

BBC3 has commissioned new factual series fronted Reggie Yates, Stacey Dooley and Tyger Drew-Honey.

Reggie Yates: Extreme Russia (w/t) (3 x 60’) is produced by Sundog Pictures, Tyger Takes On (2 x 60’) is produced by Roughcut TV and Stacey Dooley: No Place for a Girl (2 x 60’) is produced by Watershed TV.

In Reggie Yates: Extreme Russia, Yates travels to Russia to look at the lives of three very different sets of young Russians: gay men and women in St Petersburg; extreme ultranationalists in Moscow, and would-be supermodels in Siberia, and tries to get a handle on the world’s largest country.

Wendie Ottewill is series producer, Sam Anthony is executive producer. The BBC commissioning executive is Darren Kemp.

A new series of Tyger Takes On: sees Tyger Drew-Honey tackling two new subjects, sexuality and the battle of the sexes.

Neil Calow and Alannah Richardson are executive producers. The BBC commissioning editor is Elliot Reed.

Stacey Dooley: No Place for a Girl sees Dooley journey to some of the worst places in the world to be female, Honduras and Nigeria, to investigate why women in these countries are forced to live in such dangerous and desperate situations.

Mark Rubens is executive producer. Darren Kemp is BBC commissioning executive.

BBC3 has also greenlit Extreme at 18 (W/T ) (1 x 60’) from Voltage TV about young political activists who take politics into their own hands, from closing down power stations and fracking companies to occupying flagship stores of major retailers. The executive producer is Sanjay Singhal. BBC commissioning editor is Elliot Reed.

BBC3 has also ordered FA Cup’s 50 Greatest Moments (1 x 120’) which sees former England captain Rio Ferdinand and pop star Olly Murs count down the FA Cup's 50 Greatest Moments.
