Dublin-based Observe Outside Broadcasting and sports indie Sunset+Vine have established a partnership to produce Italy’s home fixtures during this season's RBS 6 Nations Championship.

The RBS 6 Nations awarded host broadcaster contract covers two matches - Italy vs Scotland on Saturday 22nd February and Italy vs Englandon Saturday 15th March. Both matches will take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

In the newly formed collaboration Observe Outside Broadcasting will be responsible for the supply of technical facilities and crew, with Sunset+Vine to supply all production personnel including directors, producers and the location management involved in distributing the live match coverage from the Stadio Olimpico across the world.

Observe has regularly been involved in Ireland's home games from the Aviva Stadium in Dublin working alongside RTE.

Jeff Foulser, chairman of Sunset+Vine, said: “The strength of our production is built around our team’s experience of being the host broadcaster for the past four seasons of the Aviva Premiership, first with ESPN and now with BT Sport, as well as from the past six seasons of Heineken Cup, the IRB Rugby World Cup and various Lions Tours.”

Sunset+Vine was recently appointed as primary production partner for BT Sport (UK) and produces the channel’s live English Premier League Football and Aviva Premiership Rugby matches and all support programming. In 2013 it provided extensive coverage of The London 2012 Paralympic Games. In 2014, Sunset+Vine will be host broadcaster of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
