Sound design and music production facility String and Tins has expanded its roster of sound designers to five, hiring Joe Wilkinson to work alongside Will Cohen, Mike Bamford, Andy Stewart and Alex Bingham.
Mike Bamford, founding partner at String and Tins, said “When you start talking to someone with a shared interest and suddenly an hour has passed and the rest of your friend group has glazed over…. That’s what happened when Joe and I struck up a conversation about synthesizers in a pub last year. Joe has incredibly diverse sound interests. He’s equally at home recording organic sounds, playing jazz guitar or noodling on a modular synth, which makes him a perfect fit for our team – I’m excited to see how we can develop and push him.”
