The second series of ITV's entertainment show Splash continues to sink in the ratings, with Saturday night's show counting an average of almost 2.9 million viewers tuning in to the semi finals.

Despite the first series of the Twofour entertainment show with Tom Daley pulling in audiences of up to six million, this second series has been pushing hard to get four million.

This year it's up against The Voice on BBC One, which has started its run earlier this year and has seen a boost in ratings year on year, with speculation that the higher figures are a result of Kylie Minogue joining the judging panel.
