Post house Rushes, a stalwart of the Soho post production scene, is set to close following employee consultation.

The company opened its doors back in 1977 and is run by md Joce Capper. It currently employs 60 full time staff and has an annual turnover of £6.8m. It’s owned by the Deluxe Group.

Amanda Cupples, President of International, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group confirmed the closure saying: “Deluxe confirmed its proposal to close the Rushes business, the company’s London based commercials post production brand, subject to employee consultation. As the global ad market continues to evolve, the economics of maintaining a local commercials post facility in London is not proving a viable option. Our wider Creative Services division offering a full suite of post production services by leading brands Encore, Company 3 and Editpool is still very much a core part of our business and going strong.”
