Sky1 orders music panel show from Duncan Gray's new indie

Sky 1 is to launch music panel show Bring the Noise, created by Twenty Six 03, the new production company founded by former Sky and ITV entertainment commissioner Duncan Gray.

The eight part series will see former Voice judge Ricky Wilson in his first role as host, with Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah as team captains, alongside comedian Katherine Ryan as a regular panellist throughout the series.  ‚Ä® ‚Ä®

Their guests each week will take part in rounds involving music trivia questions, games with musical set pieces, which will include spoof video parodies and mash-ups. The last round of each show will see the teams compete in a musical performance battle. ‚Ä® 

Sky said the set is inspired by music arenas, allowing the audience of pop fans to feel part of the musical action.

A House Band will perform throughout each programme, with surprise guests joining them along the way.  

Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, commented: “The mix of music, comedy and entertainment makes it the must-see family show of the autumn.”‚Ä® ‚Ä®International distribution will be handled by Sky Vision which will be launching the format at MIPCOM in October.‚Ä® ‚Ä®Executive Producers are Duncan Gray and Antonia Hurford-Jones for Twenty Six 03, and Celia Taylor and Richard Ackerman, Head of Non-Scripted Commissioning and Non-Scripted Commissioning Editor for Sky.

The series will be series produced by Chris Little (A League of Their Own, Saturday Night Takeaway) and directed by Stephen Stewart (Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush, TFI Friday, Jimmy Kimmel Live).‚Ä® ‚Ä®
