Zinc Media Group has announced that Richard Farmbrough has resigned from his position as Commercial Director and Chief Executive Reef Television and will be leaving the Company in August 2018.

Farmbrough founded Reef in 2003 and it was bought by Zinc Media (then known as Ten Alps)  in July 2015. Recent credits for the company include Paul Hollywood’s City Bakes, Selling Houses with Amanda Lamb and Village of the Year.
 
Richard Farmbrough, said: “I’m immensely proud of everything that we have achieved as a company: the quality of our programme making has always been paramount, we have grown the careers of many brilliant people, and we have always treated contributors to the highest standards. And, we have managed to win some awards on the way.”

Peter Bertram, Zinc Chairman, said: “We wish to thank Richard for all his strategic input and support, and fully understand that, after setting up Reef Television some 14 years ago, is looking for a new challenge.  We wish him well in his future endeavours ”

Zinc has now made David Galan Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. He joined Zinc Media as Chief Financial Officer in January 2016 and took on the additional role as Chief Operating Officer in July 2016.

The Company has also appointed Katie O’Reilly as part time interim Director of Finance. She has provided ad-hoc financial consultancy to Zinc Media for approximately six months prior to her appointment.
