Red has unveiled the first footage shot with the new 4.5K Red Raven.

Carrion was shot completely on a Red Raven fitted with the new Zeiss Milvus lenses. The film puts the camera to the test in various lighting conditions and frame rates.

The Red Raven weighs in at 3.5 lbs and is aimed at shooting for "documentaries, online content creation, indie filmmaking, or with drones and gimbals."

Pricing starts at $5,950 for the camera "BRAIN"  only, with complete package options available for under $10,000.

It's equipped with a 4.5K Red Dragon sensor, and is capable of recording REDCODE RAW (R3D) in 4.5K at up to 120 fps and in 2K at up to 240 fps. It can record REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes simultaneously and starts shipping in February 2016.
