Pure Grass launches action thriller as a web series

Pure Grass Films has launched new action thriller web series and eBook Trigger Point.
 
Trigger Point is premiering as a web series with Break Media and as an eBook published by Hodder & Stoughton.
 
The series is an action-thriller directed by Matthias Hoene (Cockneys vs. Zombies), and features Joshua Dallas (Once Upon A Time, Thor) and Vincent Regan (300, Troy).
 
The episodes tell the story of CIA agent Tom Wisher (played by Josh Dallas), on an undercover mission to rescue a hostage in Pakistan,when he is betrayed by his corrupt handler Bill Blake (played by Vincent Regan).
 
In a distribution deal secured by Content Digital, a division of Content Media Corporation, the two 15-minute web episodes premiere on on www.break.com and youtube.
 



The Trigger Point series and novel are written by Matthew Law (LD 50 Lethal Dose, Truth or Dare) and published by Hodder & Stoughton. The eBook is available on Amazon, Apple and Google.
 
With a mix of free and paid-for digital content on multiple platforms, the initial launch is being seen as a way of growing the audience for a planned feature film. The film script has been adapted from the novel and is in development with Pure Grass Films.
 
Currently Pure Grass is working on a major feature film adaptation of Oliver Twist with Redbull. Its credits include Kirill, which won a Webby and was nominated for a Digital Emmy, and Beyond the Rave, MySpace’s first original series outside the US, which was financed by Hammer Films (Woman in Black).
 
Break Media is the largest creator and distributor of male-targeted content online, reaching an audience of more than 200 million people through video and editorial content. The company’s properties include Break.com.
