Pulse Films hires Patrick Vien as president

Pulse Films has hired former NBC Universal exec Patrick Vien in the newly created role of President.

Vien previously held senior positions at NBC Universal (President, Global TV Networks) where he oversaw a wide portfolio of TV channel brands across over 30 countries, and was Chairman and CEO Warner Music International (WMI) where he was responsible for overseeing the management and transformation of WMI’s 50 labels.

Most recently, Vien held the position of President and COO at Bankable Enterprises, overseeing all commercial activities for Tyra Banks. 

He will be working in partnership with Thomas Benski, CEO, who will continue to focus on the creative and strategic growth of the business.

TV, film and commercials producer Pulse said Vien would help expand their TV businesses in the UK and US as well as the planned launch of online channels.

Benski said; “We’re delighted to have Patrick joining Pulse at this exciting stage. He brings with him a wealth of experience and an entrepreneurial drive that complements our own culture. We are ideally positioned to take advantage of the current landscape and have actioned big plans for growth, specifically within the fields of TV, branded entertainment and channels and Patrick will be a major asset in helping us to further this expansion.”

Based in the New York office, Vien will report to global CEO Thomas Benski.
