London Transport Museum and Nexus Interactive Arts are developing a new immersive experience at Aldwych Underground station, one of London’s disused historic stations.

The show, called Lost and Found – a secret Underground Journey, will re-imagine the 150-year history of London’s Underground through a production which will combine interactive installations, set design, moving image, sound and light. It will launch on 30 August 2013 and run for an eight week period.

Visitors will be taken on an hour-long journey through the ticket hall and down onto the platforms during an experience that will tell the stories of forgotten characters, people and places. The site-responsive set design will mean that visitors can become a part of the story as it unfolds before them.

The event will celebrate the past, present and future of London Underground and, in particular, Aldwych Station and its architecture. Visitors will learn about the pioneering technology and engineering that has been a fundamental feature of the Underground since it began.

The experience lasts for approximately one hour and 15 minutes
