NAB2015: Las Vegas readies new drone pavilion

This year’s NAB will feature a new pavilion devoted to that hottest of topics in production drone technology.
The new dedicated Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion area will be sponsored by DJI and located in the South Upper Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. 

It will showcase the output of aerial robotics companies and will include a flying cage as well as regular presentations about all aspects of drone technology from 9.15am to 6pm.

Topics include laws and regulations surrounding drones, the use of drones for news gathering, drones in space as well as capturing aerial video and employing range extenders.

 “Unmanned aerial systems are increasingly being used to cover live events and breaking news, and in industries such as real estate, law enforcement, search and rescue, and more,” said Mannie Frances, Drone Media Group.

“Drones were one of the hottest technologies at the 2014 NAB Show. We are excited to unveil the Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion in 2015.”

Companies taking part in the drone pavilion include DJI, Canon, Amimon, DSLR Pros, XFly Systems, TeraLogics, Go Professional Cases, ArrowData, Sky High Media, ZM Interactive and Unmanned Vehicle University.

The Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion will be located in South Upper Hall at SU12702.
