Lime Pictures has hired Audible’s Rebecca Fenton as Head of Development and Alison Loose as Scripted Production Executive.

Prior to joining Lime Pictures, Rebecca Fenton established and grew a portfolio of scripted audio drama productions for Audible, an Amazon Company. She built up a portfolio of 40+ dramas across a wide range of genres and IP partnerships, including several pieces drawing upon non-fiction material.

Fenton’s commissions have included The Jungle Book (Double Audie Award winning), Murder on the Orient Express (Cameo Award), Blood on Satan's Claw (New York City Radio Award for Best Drama Special, 2018) and key commissioning partnerships included Agatha Christie Ltd and The Donmar Warehouse.  Under her direction, the productions have brought in talent to Audible’s Original Production slate including Dominic West, Rebecca Hall, David Tennant and Ruby Wax.

Alison Loose returns to Lime Pictures as a Production Executive working across both the Drama and Kids departments. Most recently she has been working in house at BBC Children’s taking care of the development slate and managing co-producer relationships.  Her credits as a Line Producer include prime time hits Last Tango in Halifax, Scott and Bailey and Home Fires.

Lime recently announced Angelo Abela and Tim Compton as Head of Lime Kids alongside Louise Sutton as Head of Drama and YA (Young Adults).  Bryan Kirkwood is Lime’s Head of Continuing Drama and Sarah Tyekiff is Head of Unscripted.  Lime’s presence in the US in non-scripted is headed up by Ben Crompton (EVP, Development for Unscripted).

Louise Sutton said; “I am absolutely thrilled that Rebecca and Alison have joined the team.  Rebecca’s editorial expertise, strategic background and stuffed contact book make her the perfect fit for scripted Head of Development and Alison brings with her a wealth of production experience on some of the biggest shows on television.  We have big ambitions for our slate both in the UK and internationally and together we will be a force to be reckoned with.  I’m excited for the future at Lime with Rebecca and Alison by my side.”

Rebecca Fenton said;    “I’m delighted to join Louise and the team at this ‘renaissance’ time for TV drama – an era where viewers demand innovation, quality and diversity of voice in their programming and expect consistently high standards in production.  The team is perfectly positioned to develop and deliver great programs, bringing their wide range of contacts and expertise to Lime’s constantly-evolving Primetime and Young Adult Drama development slate.”

Alison Loose said;    “I’m hugely excited to join Lime, a truly successful regional production company with a global audience, during this period of growth, surrounded by a wealth of talent.  I am looking forward to working with the creative communities in Liverpool, the north west and beyond.”
