Kudos has appointed Phil Temple to the role of Executive Producer.

Temple joins Kudos from Carnival where he worked as a Development Producer from 2014 after being the company’s Head of Development for two years.

His most recent projects include The Last Kingdom for BBC and BBC America and the 10 part series Stan Lee’s Lucky Man for Sky One that TXs in January 2016.

Whilst Head of Development he managed Carnival’s development team and creatively oversaw its slate of drama projects: helping to develop shows including ITV’s The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies.

Before that he worked as Creative Executive, Drama and Comedy at NBC Universal International after five years at BBC Drama’s in-house team.

The news follows the recent Kudos staff moves that saw Jo Strevens’ move into the Head of Development role, Naomi De Pear stepping up to produce Flowers for Channel 4  and Humans producer Chris Fry’s promotion to Executive Producer.

Kudos’ recent and forthcoming credits include River (BBC One), Capital (BBC One), The Tunnel II: Sabotage (Sky Atlantic / Canal+), Grantchester II (ITV), Flowers (Channel 4), Humans (Channel 4 / AMC) and Broadchurch (ITV).
