Jay Hunt heads up speakers for Televisual Factual Festival

Channel 4’s chief creative officer Jay Hunt heads up the speakers for this year’s Televisual Factual Festival.

Hunt and BBC Four controller Richard Klein are both featuring in interview sessions and senior commissioning executives from the BBC, Channel 4, Sky and ITV are among the fifty high profile speakers lined up for the event.

The Festival, to be held at BAFTA in London’s Piccadilly on October 24th and 25th, will hear from  Hamish Mykura, executive vice president and head of International Content, National Geographic Channels International, Charlotte Moore, BBC commissioning editor for Documentaries, Simon Andreae, senior vice president of Development and Production, West Coast, Discovery Channel US and from Sky - Celia Taylor, head of factual and features and head of factual entertainment Michele Kurland.

Factual commissioners from all the main channels will reveal what they are looking for, as well as discussing issues facing the industry. Experts in the US market, international co-production and presenter talent offer advice and share information on how to find funding and give productions a critical edge.

Some of the world's most successful producers share their production know-how and offer insights into what it takes to be successful in the factual programme-making business in the UK and abroad.
