Jane Johnson quits as director of Sky Living

Jane Johnson is leaving her role as director of Sky Living. Antonia Hurford-Jones, currently commissioning editor, Entertainment for Sky, has been appointed acting director for the channel.

The news was broken to Sky staff in an email on Friday.

Johnson is leaving at the end of August and plans to set up a media consultancy.
Hurford-Jones has been with Sky for nine months. She has exec produced Got To Dance, A League of Their Own, and Love Machine.  Her commissions include Sing Date, Adam Buxton’s Bug and Don’t Sit in the Front Row with Jack Dee.

Phil Edgar-Jones, head of Entertainment, Sky, will look for an acting commissioning editor, Entertainment to cover Antonia's position for this period.

There will be a handover period with Jane Johnson until Jane leaves at the end of August.
