Post house Gramercy Park Studios has redeveloped its central London facility with new work spaces and kit.

The new spaces include five VFX and finishing suites and a new audio suite.

The new 5.1 / 7.1 mixing suite is fitted with large-scale Avid audio processing solutions. An Avid Pro Tools S6 mixing console with Pro Tools HDX and Pro Tools | HD software has been installed.

GPS has also expanded its rendering capabilities by adding a GPU Render Server, with the latest NVidia Cards.

Alongside the expansion, Joe McNally has joined as the new head of editing following Vee Pinot’s move to GPS New York. The reconfigured space will continue to house production teams and also use the original meeting rooms, breakout areas and a coffee bar on the ground floor of the London facility.

“Our infrastructure advancements will more than double our rendering capacity, allowing our artists to iterate often, present more versions and deliver more complex jobs,” said Richard Ireland, managing director at Gramercy Park Studios. “We pride ourselves on taking a collaborative approach with our clients and the new equipment throughout the redeveloped spaces will help meet our growing customer demand, benefitting in-house productivity and overall quality of delivery.”
