Televisual and all3media International have launched a brand new competition for young documentary filmmaking talent, Fast & Factual.

The competition takes place as part of the Televisual Factual Festival and gives young people the chance to showcase their documentary filmmaking prowess. With fantastic prizes up for grabs, it's an amazing opportunity for budding young talent.

Entrants must produce a two-minute documentary based around the theme, A Dog’s Life. This can be interpreted as the filmmaker sees fit. The film must be two minutes, and must be shot using a handheld, mobile device and edited using easily available, non-professional software.

Four finalists will be selected to show their short at The Televisual Factual Festival and the winning filmmaker will have the opportunity to remake their film using professional equipment as well as one-on-one mentorship from one of all3media’s blue chip producers. The finished film will then be showcased on televisual.com with a profile and write up in Televisual magazine. The winner will receive a Canon camera and Final Cut Pro editing software courtesy of all3media International.
