EMI partners to create the James Grant Music Library

Entertainment management company the James Grant Group is partnering with EMI Music Publishing to create a production music library.
The James Grant Music Library will be launched on PLAY, EMI Music Publishing's platform for production music for TV, radio and advertising.

The deal adds to EMI Music Publishing’s media rights roster. EMI provide rights management and music exploitation opportunities for a range of media clients including 20th Century Fox, ITV, Endemol, Shine, STV.

James Grant Music has worked on TV music for new C4 celebrity impression show Very Important People (pictured) and the travel series Holiday: Heaven and Earth for Channel 5.
The James Grant Music Library will provide music for use across broadcast and commercial projects, with EMI Production Music supplying creative support plus administration, distribution and marketing of the library.

The library will offer content from a network of composers and producers who will create music across a range of genres and mirror current record label releases.  TV and film producers will be able to call on this network of composers to create bespoke music to meet specific project requirements.
In addition to the composition and supply of library and bespoke music, James Grant Group offers financing for independent production companies (providing cash flow, deficit finance or pilot investment), advice on and access to talent and voiceover artists, PR support, IP development, literary representation, and consultancy on brand opportunities as part of its wider media partnerships proposition.

James Grant Music has carried out work in the TV and advertising sectors, through its links with music supervisors, creative agencies and James Grant's own internal brand division. This includes music for brand campaigns such as Rolls Royce, Amnesty International’s Secret Policeman’s Ball as well as its TV work.
