Childs play at Beakus

Beakus's Leo Bridle directed this series of animations for a major new project at the British Library that aims to preserve children's games and songs.



The 9x40-second animations form the backbone of a new web portal that was launched by author Michael Rosen. Bridle held workshops in schools in London and Sheffield where the pupils helped shape the stories, create the artwork and provide the voiceovers. The kids’ artwork was then animated back at Beakus's studios in London.
