Global media music group Audio Network has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade for 2012.
Audio Network supplies original scoring, audio branding, sound design services and works as creative partners alongside over 300 renowned composers. It now has interests and operations worldwide, supplying music to major international media clients, including BBC, HBO, MSN, MTV Networks, National Geographic Ogilvy, and Endemol.
The company has recently opened an office in Munich in addition to those in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Holland and has a network of sub-publishers that cover France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, the Middle East, Japan and South Africa.
Audio Network managing director, Juliette Squair (pictured) said, “This is the greatest tribute we could possibly receive in recognition of our expansion into the global marketplace. We work very closely with our international offices and sub publishers to ensure we continue to deliver great music and customer service. We have always known that the Audio Network ethos and music was special - now it has the official endorsement it deserves. We couldn’t be more delighted!”
To qualify in the International Trade category, Audio Network had to demonstrate outstanding achievement in international trade over three years and substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success.
Audio Network’s tracks are pre-cleared for multiple formats for the world, forever, allowing producers to make content for international distribution, emerging platforms and new media without clearing individual tracks or re-versioning productions.
The company also won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of Innovation in 2008.
