Audio Network has released a new panel for Adobe Premiere Pro CC that integrates the Audio Network catalogue into Adobe’s popular editing package.

It makes it possible for editors to search for and trial full length Audio Network tracks within Adobe Premiere Pro, without having to leave the timeline.

Prior to the panel’s launch, you would have to leave the application and go to Audio Network’s website to search for, pay for and download the tracks you wanted to use, before finally importing them into the editor.

Now, the process is vastly simplified – you can find, import and trail mp3 versions of tracks for free within Adobe Premiere Pro, without leaving your Premiere Pro suite, and then, once you’ve purchased a licence (which can also be done within Adobe Premiere Pro), the full quality track automatically replaces the mp3 in your timeline.

Audio Network has a catalogue of more than 100,000 tracks, with pricing depending on the type of usage and ranging from £6.99 (ex VAT) for a non-monetised online video to £495 (ex VAT) for a TV commercial, per track.

Talking about Audio Network’s new Adobe Premiere Pro panel, Matthew Hawn, Head of Product Development and Customer Experience at Audio Network says: “Users of the new integration panel will experience a cutting edge range of features for searching, auditioning and editing music within Adobe Premiere Pro CC – saving valuable time for content creators in a demanding industry.”

“The open architecture of the Adobe video tools allow for integration both under the hood and within the application, providing a connected, creative environment,” adds Sue Skidmore, head of partner relations for professional video at Adobe. “The new Audio Network integration panel for Adobe Premiere Pro CC illustrates what this means, giving users access to music content easily and efficiently, without interrupting the creative process.”
