All3Media International is behind the Televisual Factual Festival Pitch for Cash competition session, with a prize of £2,500 towards a trailer and six months advice for the winning idea for a factual series with global appeal.

The competition is open to producers with a track record and a strong idea for a show that can cross international boundaries.

All3Media International will select a short list of three entries to attend the Factual Festival (with free entry). These three will pitch to the judging panel of Tracy Forsyth, vice president commissioning, BBC Worldwide Channels, All3Media International’s md Louise Pedersen and International Mipcom editor Julian Newby.

To find out more and how to enter, go to the Televisual Factual Festival website.

The closing date for entries is 15th October.

The session will run from 17-30 until 19-00 on Wednesday 24th October, the first day of the two day festival. The winner will be announced at the session.

There will also be a five minute guide to international pitching by Nick Catliff, managing director of Lion Television.

The competition does not include children’s music or animation and the idea will need to have a realistic budget.

This year's Factual Festival will see over 50 high profile names in factual TV speaking across two days. It is being held at BAFTA in London's Piccadilly.
