This big breakout sitcom hit for BBC3 is turning into the comedy hit of the year with the show, and star James Corden, recently picking up a couple of Baftas to sit alongside the Southbank Show award and British Comedy Awards it has already garnered. The show also looks set to follow another BBC comedy hit, The Office, to the US as the NBC network has already picked up the rights to the scripts for a remake in America. Corden also writes the show along with another of its stars, Welsh actress Ruth Jones. The series centres on the romance and impending marriage of Stacey from Barry in Wales and Gavin from Essex and their massively unsuited friends and families. The show has already hit the screens this  year for its second run picking up an impressive 1.7m viewers on BBC3. It also stars Mathew Horne and Joanna Page, Rob Brydon and Alison Steadman. Lindsay Hughes and Henry Normal were executive producers.
